RepoScope

THE PROBLEM Every developer knows this feeling. You join a new project, inherit unfamiliar code, or get called to fix an outage in a system you have never seen. You spend the first week, sometimes longer, just figuring out what is going on. Today that means opening five different tools. GitDiagram for the architecture graph. GitReverse for a reverse build prompt. Gitingest for a text summary. Explain GitHub for Q&A. And another tool entirely for guided tours. Five tabs. Five mental models. No connection between them. Most new AI tools try to solve this by generating one artifact. A markdown onboarding file. A static architecture diagram. A single Q&A response. Each of them stops the moment you ask the next question. They are snapshots. They go stale the moment code changes. None of them let you see the whole picture and then navigate it. THE SOLUTION RepoScope is a developer workspace for any GitHub repository. It builds one knowledge graph per repository and turns that single graph into five interconnected views. Paste any GitHub URL. In seconds, RepoScope renders the codebase as a connectivity pyramid. The repository name sits at the top. The most imported files appear directly below it, things like main.py, App.tsx, and db.py. Core modules sit in the middle. UI components come next. Config and build files follow. At the very bottom are documentation, tests, and demo data. Each important file expands to show its key functions as child nodes. Directed edges show exactly which file imports which, and they always flow downward. Five views on that one graph: First, the interactive pyramid graph. Not a static image. Hover, click, and trace any dependency. Second, cited Q&A. Ask anything in plain English, and every answer points to the file, function, and commit that supports it. Third, interactive missions. Guided code tours with progress tracking that turn passive reading into active learning. Fourth, impact analysis. See the blast radius of any change before you make it. Fifth, change tracking. Commits, pull requests, and issues on demand, so your understanding stays current. RepoScope also supports BYOK. Paste your GitHub Personal Access Token to unlock private repositories. Export the graph as PNG or SVG. Rotate multiple API keys automatically to survive rate limits. Generate a reverse build prompt that rebuilds any repo from scratch. TARGET USERS Developers onboarding into unfamiliar codebases. Engineering teams responding to production incidents. New hires during their first week. Open source contributors exploring projects. Tech leads planning large refactors. HOW REPOSCOPE DIFFERS Most codebase tools stop at one of two extremes. A static architecture diagram, or a generic AI chatbot that has no visual grounding. RepoScope combines both in one interactive workspace. One knowledge graph. Five views. No context switching. Other tools help you read code. RepoScope helps you understand it, navigate it, and keep up with it. EFFICIENCY Indexing happens in milliseconds, so there are no cold starts. Chat responses stream in real time using Server Sent Events. Groq runs as the primary language model, with NVIDIA NIM as an automatic fallback. Multi key rotation keeps the app online even when a provider hits its rate limit. Built entirely with IBM Bob 2.0 And Z Code for the IBM Bob 2.0 Hackathon on lablab.ai.
