The user provides a bug report and a local code repository. Pitchproof analyzes the repository and processes the problem through six stages: Repository Analysis → Root Cause → Fix Plan → Code Fix → Test Generation → Verification The agent identifies relevant files and code evidence, determines the likely root cause, creates a structured fix plan, generates a proposed code patch, creates regression tests, and produces a verification report with confidence information. Proposed code changes are presented for developer review rather than being automatically applied. Generated tests are clearly marked when they have not been executed. This makes the workflow safer and more transparent. Target Users Pitchproof is designed for software developers, students, development teams, and anyone working with unfamiliar or complex codebases who wants to reduce the time spent on repetitive debugging tasks.
