Developers lose significant time on manual debugging — locating root causes, writing fixes, testing them, and checking for side effects across the codebase. This process is slow, inconsistent, and rarely documented well enough for teammates to learn from later. FixForge is an autonomous debugging pipeline built entirely inside IBM Bob IDE that solves this end-to-end. Given one or more bug reports (uploaded as plain text/markdown files), FixForge concurrently processes each bug through a four-stage pipeline: it locates the root cause in the code, generates a fix, writes and runs a regression test to prove the fix works, and analyzes the "blast radius" — every other place in the codebase that calls the buggy function — to catch potential side effects before they ship. Beyond the core pipeline, FixForge includes features designed to build real trust in AI-assisted fixes: a confidence score for every fix based on pattern strength and test results, a one-click rollback safety net that restores the original code instantly, and a pattern-memory system that remembers previously fixed bug types across sessions — so recurring issues get resolved faster and with higher confidence over time. Each fix also generates a clean, copyable incident report summarizing the problem, root cause, fix, and verification. By processing multiple bugs in parallel rather than one at a time, FixForge demonstrates a measurable productivity gain: two independent bugs were fully diagnosed, fixed, tested, and verified in under 3 seconds combined — versus an estimated 45 minutes of manual debugging per bug.
