NIGHTWATCH is a factory diagnostic command system that detects equipment problems before they interrupt production. Instead of showing alarms alone, it explains what changed, why it matters, who should respond, and whether the issue was resolved. Each diagnosis uses six elements: anchor, verified baseline, current condition, delta, threshold, and safety gate. When equipment deviates from normal, NIGHTWATCH creates an explainable incident. The result remains “Not Yet Verified” until a human reviewer confirms, rejects, or requests more evidence. Only a verified decision unlocks the next step. The prototype demonstrates a full incident cycle with a synthetic E-01 electrical panel event. Temperature rises from a verified 42°C baseline to 78°C while current stability is lost. NIGHTWATCH identifies the deviation, presents evidence and possible causes, requires human verification, assigns the correct role, tracks maintenance, and requires reinspection before accepting a restored condition. A second scenario demonstrates safe night diagnostics. Physical tests are blocked whenever production, access, idle-time, or operating conditions are unsafe. Passive diagnosis and reporting continue without issuing physical equipment commands. This fail-closed design prevents uncertain results from becoming unsafe actions. The prototype includes factory and equipment overviews, incident management, maintenance workflows, role-based handoffs, operational reports, settings, QA checks, and a guided demo. Reports translate technical events into records that managers, engineers, and maintenance teams can understand together. NIGHTWATCH does not repair or control machinery. It detects, explains, coordinates, and verifies through the D.A.R. loop: Detect problems early, Act safely through verified human decisions, and Resolve completely through maintenance and reinspection. Detect Early. Act Safely. Resolve Completely. Keep Production Moving.
