Pocketful is a wallet built by a dark factory: four AI agents coordinating in a single BAND room, with no human writing the code. The factory has four seats. A Claude Code planner designs the system and the atomic step plan. Lisa coordinates and verifies. Gwen, running Qwen 80B on local inference, builds the API endpoints. Sigyn, running MiMo, builds the data layer. Every hand-off is an explicit @mention in the room, so each step is visible and nothing starts until its dependencies pass their tests. Getting very different agents onto BAND was a large part of the work. The planner is a real Claude Code session; Lisa uses a Hermes plugin; Gwen and Sigyn join through a Python adapter we built on band-sdk, with 41 tests, running as services on two servers. The adapter injects the room roster into each prompt, validates mentions against real participants, and avoids self and duplicate mentions that BAND rejects. The result is a payments wallet where money is never created, destroyed or double-spent, backed by a double-entry ledger, scoped idempotency and ascending-ID locks, delivered in four stages with 82 passing tests.
