Rome had 22.9 million tourist arrivals in 2025, and most cannot read an Italian menu. For people with a food allergy or coeliac disease, eating out abroad is a real risk. MenuBridge is a QR menu that rewrites itself for each diner. Diners pick one of 8 languages, say who they are and declare any of the 14 EU allergens or a diet. Gemma 4 rewrites every dish; they order in their own words. The AI never decides what is safe. Fixed rules check every dish against the owner-approved ingredient sheet, remove clashing dishes, explain why in the diner's language and offer safe alternatives. The kitchen gets an Italian ticket; a waiter confirms it at the table. Then "My meals" keeps a private record on the phone: every dish with its ingredients and allergens, in the diner's language and Italian, built only from that sheet, never from the AI. A diner can show a doctor exactly what they ate; it is not medical advice. MenuBridge is built for Gemma 4 26B-A4B on vLLM and ROCm on one AMD Instinct MI300X. First live calls ran on AMD Token Factory with Gemma-4-31B-IT. Restaurants pay a monthly subscription. Our team is based in Rome. We are looking for a pilot trattoria in Rome.
