3+ years of experience
I'm a developer from Malawi who came into coding through design — I think in UX/UI first, then figure out the code. I founded Viluh Systems to build web apps and systems for small businesses and clients who need real tools, not just mockups. My current project, Tumani, is a live app built for professional drivers — it's how I'm learning to ship real software, not just tutorials

Voice Guardian: your voice is the fastest way to call for help The problem Tumani connects professional drivers across Malawi for trips, parcel delivery, and errands. Many drive alone on unfamiliar roads. When a vehicle breaks down, they can be stranded with no fast way to get help, and typing on a phone while stressed or in the dark isn't realistic. The solution Voice Guardian adds a voice-powered safety layer to Tumani, built on AssemblyAI speech-to-text. A driver with a breakdown just speaks what's wrong. The message is transcribed and an alert with the issue and the driver's location goes to mechanics. No typing needed. An SOS flow for serious situations like accidents is designed next: calm, guided voice questions, location confirmation, and a structured distress alert. How it works 1. The driver speaks their problem. 2. AssemblyAI transcribes it. 3. The app adds the driver's location. 4. The alert appears for mechanics, who can claim the job. Built with AssemblyAI, Next.js, Supabase, Vercel Why it matters Malawi's roads mean long distances, little help nearby, and patchy connectivity. Voice Guardian gives drivers a hands-free way to ask for help when every minute counts, and gives mechanics a direct way to reach them. What's next Mechanic sign-up and profiles, alerts to other drivers on the same road, SMS fallback for weak signal, the guided SOS flow, and local languages such as Chichewa. Try it Live app: https://tumani.vercel.app Driver demo: [email protected] , password: demo2026 How to test: tap the red " New: drivers can now speak an SOS or breakdown alert — hands-free, powered by AssemblyAI.", log in as the driver, and on My trips tap Breakdown and record a message (allow microphone and location). Send the alert, then tap "Mechanic" on the homepage to see it arrive (no login needed).

Live Demo: https://ulendo-safe.onrender.com GitHub: https://github.com/iziNDIzo/Ulendo-Safe Note: Free Render sleeps 50 sec on first load, please wait. Ulendo Safe is an AI safety agent for ALL public transport in Malawi — Kabaza motorbikes AND car taxis. Problem: 70% of Malawians use Kabaza or informal taxis daily with NO verification. Passengers don't know if driver is real, drivers don't know if passenger is safe. Breakdown at night = stranded with no help. Solution: 1. Two-way QR Verification — passenger checks driver, driver checks passenger. Green/Yellow/Red risk via AMD Cloud GPU. 2. WhatsApp-first — low data, no app, Chichewa & English voice. 3. AI SOS Triage — Llama 4 Maverick translates "Ndithandizeni!" voice into GPS alert to police & family. 4. Breakdown Rescue — taps "Breakdown" finds nearest verified mechanic/fuel/police with price + one-tap call. TECH: AMD Developer Cloud, AMD ROCm, Llama 4, QR, WhatsApp API. IMPACT: Trust + Safety for 50k+ Lilongwe riders, no app, low data.
