OptionProof — Agents Propose, Evidence Decides

OptionProof is an autonomous options-research and paper-trading agent for active traders and systematic teams that want broad, continuous opportunity discovery without giving an opaque model direct broker authority. Every five minutes it scans ten liquid ETFs for opening-range breakout and range-edge rejection opportunities, builds a contract-specific slate from current option quotes, Greeks, liquidity, and volatility evidence, and asks an AI proposer to rank the complete slate. A separate AI critic tries to falsify the selected thesis. Unlike a chat-style recommendation or black-box bot, the model cannot place orders or invent contracts: deterministic code revalidates the exact quote, recomputes sizing and exposure, checks the dedicated paper account, and grants one-use execution authority only when the evidence still holds. Alpaca Market Data drives discovery and contract validation; the Trading API is the system of record for orders, fills, positions, buying power, and exits. Alpaca CLI is authenticated against the paper environment for asset, contract, and exact option-order dry-run proof, while MCP provides an additional read-only research surface. Every decision, refusal, order transition, and exit remains inspectable and replayable, creating a path from this competition agent to a governed execution layer for trading teams and broker platforms. The repository includes a credential-free two-minute judge demo that generates accepted, rejected, unavailable-model, and ambiguous-exit evidence and verifies every artifact. Paper results are hypothetical and do not represent live performance.
