DevFix AI — Proof Before Patch

DevFix AI — Proof Before Patch is an AI-assisted debugging platform designed to address a common software development problem: developers often receive bug-fix suggestions without reliable evidence that the proposed change actually resolves the issue or avoids regressions. DevFix AI changes this workflow from “suggest a patch” to “prove the patch.” It analyzes a project, identifies issues using code, dependency, configuration, test, and code-quality analysis, and presents evidence about the detected problem. It then generates a proposed fix with a reviewable diff and risk information. The developer remains in control throughout the process. A fix cannot simply be applied automatically; the developer reviews and approves the proposed change before application. After the fix is applied, DevFix AI runs verification tests, compares the results against the baseline, checks for regressions, and produces a final verification result. The central feature is the Proof Before Patch / Evidence Chain. It connects the complete debugging journey: issue detection → evidence → root cause → reproduction → baseline → proposed fix → risk → developer approval → application → verification → regression check → proof. This gives developers traceable evidence for why a fix was proposed and whether it actually worked. The primary target users are software developers, students, engineering teams, and technical support or maintenance teams who need a faster and more reliable debugging workflow. Users interact with DevFix AI through a web dashboard. They can scan a project, inspect detected issues, review proposed fixes and diffs, approve or reject changes, apply approved fixes, run verification, inspect the Evidence Chain, and view the final proof. What makes DevFix AI distinctive is its verification-first approach. Instead of treating a generated code change as the final answer, the system treats verification evidence as a required part of the debugging process. This creates a practical bridge between AI-assisted code generation and developer-controlled software validation.
