HomeAngel AI is a privacy-preserving fall-detection system built for in-home safety monitoring. The application runs video analysis locally on the SiMa.ai Modalix DevKit using pose-based inference, tracking body motion, torso angle, stillness, and fall-state transitions over time. Raw video stays on the device and is never stored, uploaded, or sent to family members. When a fall is confirmed, HomeAngel emits only a small JSON event containing metadata such as device, zone, timestamp, confidence, and an optional VLM-generated text description. The demo console shows judges the full local pipeline, including video, pose state, risk level, latency, and event flow, while clearly separating what stays inside the unit from what leaves the box. Families receive simple Telegram alerts without needing to watch a live feed.
