DevPilot AI is a multi-agent AI platform designed to simplify and automate the software development workflow. Developed for the IBM Bob 2.0 Hackathon, it combines intelligent code analysis, documentation generation, testing, code review, and AI-powered chat assistance into one user-friendly application. The platform allows users to upload Python, C++, Java, or HTML source code files. Once a file is uploaded, multiple AI agents work together to analyze the project. The Debug Agent identifies syntax errors, infinite loops, input validation issues, and coding mistakes while suggesting possible fixes. The Documentation Agent automatically generates a professional README file and project overview. The Test Generator Agent creates relevant unit test cases to improve software reliability. The Code Review Agent evaluates code quality, readability, and performance, providing a quality score and improvement suggestions. DevPilot AI also includes an AI Chat Assistant, enabling users to ask questions about their uploaded code, such as explaining functions, finding bugs, optimizing logic, or generating documentation. This creates an interactive coding experience similar to modern AI coding assistants. Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python FastAPI, and SQLite, DevPilot AI demonstrates the concept of multi-agent collaboration inspired by IBM Bob 2.0. The project aims to reduce manual effort, increase developer productivity, and provide an intelligent assistant for students, beginners, and software developers. It offers a modern dashboard with analytics, making code understanding and project maintenance faster and more efficient.
