Callout — Real-Time Multilingual Voice Comms

In competitive multiplayer shooters (Valorant, CS2, Apex Legends, Siege), split-second callouts dictate victory. However, international matchmaking routinely teams players across different languages, leading to miscommunication, silence, or toxic friction. General-purpose translation tools fail in gaming because: Temporal Latency: 2–3 second delays make fast tactical callouts obsolete before they arrive. Esports Slang & Shorthand: Terms like "one-shot", "diff", or "flank behind" are butchered by literal translation engines. Code-Switching: Players constantly mix English and native languages mid-sentence (e.g., Hinglish). Callout solves this with a purpose-built real-time audio pipeline: Streaming Speech Recognition: Captures 16 kHz PCM audio directly from the browser mic, processed asynchronously via AssemblyAI Universal-3.5 Streaming. Sub-200ms Domain-Aware Translation: Few-shot prompts executed on Groq LPUs (LLaMA 3.3 70B) distill complex, code-switched phrases into crisp, punchy gaming callouts under 10 words. Zero-Friction Audio Delivery: Broadcasts across WebSockets with individualized synthesis via Web Speech API or streamed ElevenLabs Flash audio. Private Voice Copilot: Hands-free trigger words ("Agent, repeat", "Agent, summary") deliver private situational reports straight to the player's ears without cluttering team comms.
