FlexiMind is an autonomous AI workflow orchestration platform designed to move beyond traditional chatbots and simple model routing. Instead of requiring users to choose an AI model, engineer complex prompts, or manually coordinate multiple tools, a user describes the outcome they want and FlexiMind determines how to accomplish it. The system analyzes the goal, decomposes it into executable tasks, creates an orchestration plan, assigns tasks to specialized AI agents or models, invokes the required tools, maintains workflow context, and evaluates intermediate outputs before producing the final result. A verification layer detects weak or failed outputs and can retry, reroute, or modify the execution strategy automatically. For the AMD AI Academy Challenge, FlexiMind will run open-source AI inference on AMD Developer Cloud infrastructure using ROCm, allowing selected reasoning and execution agents to operate on AMD GPU compute. The project will also measure routing and inference behavior such as latency, workload complexity, execution success, and resource efficiency. The goal is to make advanced multi-agent AI practical for real users and businesses: users focus on what they want accomplished, while FlexiMind handles how the AI system gets there.
