BRIGHTLINE

BRIGHTLINE is an autonomous options-trading agent designed around a simple principle: AI can reason about the market, but it should not control the boundaries of the trading system. The system operates on SPY, QQQ, IWM, and DIA using live market data and quantitative signals including LightGBM P(Up), IV Rank, VRP, market regime, and days to earnings. Each cycle sends the same signal vector to three AI models: Groq as the live model, with Featherless and Mistral operating as shadow models that never execute trades. AI decisions pass through signal validation, faithfulness checks, cross-model comparison, a deterministic Python rulebook, a zero-AI risk gate, and independent broker-state reconciliation before execution. Orders are submitted through the Alpaca CLI using atomic MLEG execution, with every decision recorded in an audit log. BRIGHTLINE was built to make autonomous trading more disciplined, observable, and auditable rather than simply connecting an LLM directly to a broker.
