Clanker-Shield

Developers dealing with vulnerability reports usually run into the same problem: too much noise, not enough context. You get a pile of findings with no clear sense of what's actually risky, what to fix first, or whether your fix even worked. ClankerShield tries to fix that. It's an AI-assisted platform for scanning repositories — you can try a demo scan or upload your own repo as a ZIP. Once it's in, ClankerShield extracts and inventories the code, checks your dependencies, scans for secrets, runs static analysis, and looks at your infrastructure and container configs. It can also plug into tools like Semgrep and Bandit if you want extra coverage. The interesting part happens after the scan. Instead of just dumping a list of issues on you, ClankerShield correlates findings, scores them by risk, and maps them onto an attack-path graph — so you can actually see how a vulnerability plays out: what routes it touches, what data it exposes, how it affects authentication, and so on. From there, you get a dashboard to dig into results, a Security Copilot you can ask questions and get evidence-backed answers from, and the ability to generate patches, review them, apply them, or roll them back if something breaks. Rescan afterward and it tells you whether the issue got fixed, is still hanging around, or whether the fix quietly introduced something new. Everything can be exported into reports for whoever needs them. What really sets it apart is that it doesn't stop at "here's a problem." It walks the whole loop — find it, explain it, propose a fix, let a human review it, then confirm it actually worked. And it's built to be safe: your code is only ever analyzed, never executed, and the AI features are grounded in real scan evidence rather than guesswork. The core analysis also runs locally and deterministically, so the tool still works even without an AI provider connected. It's built for people who need real security feedback without needing a whole security team on staff — solo developers, small startups, engineering teams who are tired of bouncing between five different tools and just want to go from "we found a problem" to "we know it's fixed."
