Senatus AI is an enterprise multi-agent investment committee platform built natively on Band. When a portfolio manager submits a stock ticker and investment thesis, five specialized AI agents convene in a dedicated Band room and conduct structured adversarial due diligence: a ResearchAgent pulls live market data and financials to open the deliberation, a BullAnalyst constructs the strongest case for the position and files a formal BUY motion, a BearAnalyst directly challenges the bull thesis point-by-point and files an AVOID motion, a ComplianceOfficer screens the full debate for regulatory red flags and can escalate and pause the room at any point mid-deliberation, and a SynthesisChair reads the entire committee transcript, tallies the motions, and delivers a final Buy, Hold, or Avoid verdict with a conviction score. The human chairperson holds final authority throughout, they can intervene at any stage of the debate, interrogate any agent directly in the Band room, and must formally approve, override, or request further analysis before the decision is sealed. Every agent message, motion, rebuttal, escalation, and human action is permanently logged in Band as an immutable audit trail, giving compliance teams a complete chain-of-evidence for every investment decision. Band is not a notification layer in Senatus AI, it is the deliberation chamber itself.
Category tags:"Application of technology: Five-agent investment committee (ResearchAgent, BullAnalyst/BUY motion, BearAnalyst/AVOID motion, ComplianceOfficer/mid-deliberation pause, SynthesisChair/conviction scoring) built natively on Band. ComplianceOfficer can escalate and pause the room at any point. Human chairperson can interrogate agents directly in the Band room and must formally approve before sealing. Presentation: Outstanding — "Band is not a notification layer in Senatus AI, it is the deliberation chamber itself" is a powerful statement of intent. Formal BUY/AVOID motions, point-by-point rebuttals, and immutable audit trail for compliance are precisely what institutional investment committees require. GPT-4o + Claude + DeepSeek R1 multi-model. Business value: Investment committee deliberation with regulatory compliance screening and immutable audit trail directly addresses fiduciary duty requirements for institutional asset managers. Compliance officer who can pause mid-deliberation for regulatory red flags is a critical enterprise feature. Originality: Formal parliamentary-style BUY/AVOID motion filing in a Band room is a creative institutional governance mechanism. ComplianceOfficer with mid-deliberation pause authority and the human chairperson's right to interrogate any agent at any stage represent thoughtful institutional workflow design."

"I liked this project because it treats investment research as a governed committee process instead of a single AI recommendation. The strongest part is the adversarial deliberation model. The Research Agent creates the market context, the Bull Analyst builds the investment case, the Bear Analyst directly challenges the thesis, the Compliance Officer screens for regulatory and risk concerns, and the Synthesis Chair produces a final recommendation only after reviewing the full discussion. This is a much stronger design than asking one model to provide a buy or sell answer. I also liked that the Bull and Bear agents are expected to disagree in public and rebut specific claims. That creates a more useful audit trail because the user can see not only the final verdict, but also the assumptions, risks, and counterarguments that led to it. The human chairperson approval step is especially important for a high-stakes investment workflow. The project makes good use of Band as the collaboration layer. The shared room is not only being used as a message log; it acts as the record of motions, rebuttals, compliance checks, voting, and final decision history. The model-matched architecture is also thoughtful, with different models assigned to market research, thesis creation, adversarial reasoning, compliance review, and final synthesis. The dashboard and pitch deck are very polished. The workflow is easy to understand, and the investment-committee framing gives the project a clear enterprise use case for asset management, family offices, corporate treasury, wealth management, and risk teams. For future improvement, I would like to see stronger live validation of the workflow beyond demo mode, including real market-data refresh behavior, direct SEC EDGAR and OFAC integration, source citations for financial and news claims, and evaluation against historical investment decisions. Since this is a financial workflow, it would also help to show clear controls around suitability, portfolio limits, backtesting, and what happens when the agents strongly disagree or the data is incomplete. Overall, this is a very strong multi-agent governance and decision-intelligence project. Its main value is not just producing an investment recommendation, but making the reasoning, dissent, compliance review, and human approval visible and auditable. "
