VerbalPulse: AI Defense & Interview Copilot

VerbalPulse is a real-time voice AI copilot designed to prepare candidates and researchers for high-stakes technical interviews and academic thesis viva defenses. Preparing for rigorous examinations is often intimidating and lacks objective, instantaneous feedback. VerbalPulse solves this with an end-to-end multimodal audio and intelligence pipeline. Using a low-latency WebSocket broker built with FastAPI, VerbalPulse streams live 16 kHz PCM microphone audio and transcribes technical vocabulary in real time via AssemblyAI with specialized domain term prompting. Spoken responses are evaluated dynamically against structured rubrics powered by Google Gemini.
