RepoMind is a repository intelligence workspace built to help developers understand unfamiliar public GitHub projects faster. Instead of manually digging through folders, configuration files, and source code, users can submit a repository URL and receive a structured workspace for exploring its codebase. The platform indexes a repository’s file tree without cloning or executing its code. It presents an interactive repository map, file previews, and dedicated tools for common onboarding and development tasks. These include module exploration, architecture review, local setup guidance, documentation assessment, code navigation, testing-gap discovery, task recommendations, and change-impact analysis. RepoMind supports two analysis modes. When an OpenRouter API key is configured, it can provide richer AI-assisted analysis. For local development without external AI credentials, it includes a built-in fallback that generates grounded summaries from the indexed file structure. This makes the core experience usable locally without requiring MongoDB or an AI API key.
